Chanelle is a singer, songwriter and engineer whose artistry is rooted in authenticity, emotion and storytelling. Blending soulful vocals with contemporary production, she transforms real-life experiences into powerful records that explore love, growth, resilience and transformation. With a distinctive sound and an uncompromising creative vision, Chanelle creates music designed not only to be heard, but to be felt.

For Chanelle, music is more than a career; it is a legacy.
Born into a family deeply rooted in music, she was surrounded by sound, creativity and performance from an early age. Her mother was a lovers rock singer, while her father worked across house and garage as a DJ, producer and documentarian. Her wider family carried its own musical history, including her uncle PJ Campbell's involvement with R&B group Peace by Piece and her grandmother's connection to Sony Records.

Growing up within this creative environment gave Chanelle an early introduction to both the artistry and the industry behind the music. Studios became familiar territory, songwriting became instinctive, and by the age of 13 she was already developing her craft as a songwriter and producer.

Chanelle has developed into a multifaceted singer, songwriter and engineer whose understanding of music extends far beyond the microphone.

Her career has seen her work within the creative circles of 141a Management under Raymond Stevenson, alongside artists including Jessie J, Stylo G and others, while establishing herself as a songwriter and creative collaborator in her own right.

Her work has included collaborations with artists such as Ava Leigh and contributions to the Madame Project, alongside involvement in the anti-gun initiative Don't Trigger. As part of the campaign, Chanelle contributed engineering to “Testify,” a collaborative record featuring artists including Maxi Priest, Peter Hunnigale, Ava Leigh, Stylo G, Raghav and others.

Those experiences helped shape an artist with an unusually complete understanding of her craft — from the first lyric and vocal performance to the technical process of bringing a record to life.
Today, Chanelle enters a new chapter with her solo artistry firmly at the centre. Drawing from a lifetime of experience, she creates emotionally driven music grounded in authenticity, storytelling and lived experience, while expanding her songwriting into television and film.

This is not the beginning of Chanelle's relationship with music. It is the evolution of it — decades of experience, stories and creativity distilled into an artist finally telling her story on her own terms.

Chanelle’s music blends R&B, soul, pop, hip hop and Afro influences, creating a sound defined by emotion, instinct and versatility. Her songs transform real experiences into compelling storytelling, pairing soulful vocals with powerful lyricism and contemporary production.

A natural songwriter with exceptional musical instinct, Chanelle writes across sounds, genres, and concepts, effortlessly finding melodies, lyrics, and emotion within a track. Her freestyle ability allows ideas to take shape in the moment, turning instinct into fully realised songs with an authenticity that cannot be manufactured.

Her musicality is unchained by genre or convention. Whether writing for herself or other artists, Chanelle brings a distinctive creative perspective to every record. Music with meaning, made to be felt.
